This project at Sunbeam Family Services offers therapeutic foster family members respite time and an opportunity for sibling groups in separate foster families an opportunity to spend time together. Held once per month on Saturdays on a year-round basis, the day focuses on arts and literacy for children ages three through eighteen. Volunteers plan and prepare crafts, play literacy-based games and serve lunch for all participants. Volunteers interact with the kids through art and play and provide a positive role model for these children
