100th Anniversary

A Century of Service, A Lifetime of Change!

1928 – 2028: A Century of Purpose-Driven Leadership

For 100 years, the Junior League of Oklahoma City (JLOC) has empowered women to lead, serve, and transform our community. As we mark our Centennial Anniversary, we reflect with pride on the impact we’ve made and look ahead with determination to the work still to come.

Our Legacy

Since our founding in 1928, JLOC has been a force for progress. We’ve launched signature community programs, trained generations of civic leaders, and partnered with local organizations to meet the evolving needs of Oklahoma City. From supporting early childhood education to advocating for women’s and family wellness, JLOC’s legacy is woven into the fabric of our great city.

Our Centennial Projects

Palomar – Oklahoma City’s Family Justice Center
Commitment: $500,000 for the Client Store
Palomar serves families and individuals healing from trauma, abuse, and crisis. The Client Store will offer essential resources to survivors rebuilding their lives with dignity. Clients will be able to shop for necessities while receiving wraparound services from various agencies under one roof. The Junior League’s support of the Client Store will build out this space in Palomar’s new facility.

OU Children’s Hospital OU Health Behavioral Health Center
Commitment: $500,000 for the Family Resource Center
Opening in December 2026, the new Behavioral Health Center will offer vital support for families facing mental and behavioral health challenges. The Junior League’s investment will ensure Oklahoma’s most vulnerable children receive innovative, coordinated, and evidence-based care.
