‘Tis the season! The Junior League of Oklahoma City officially sprinkled holiday magic over the city with our dazzling Mistletoe Market Christmas in July. With laughter in the air, colorful raffle prizes lining the tables, and pint glasses clinking in cheer, members and merchants alike got their first taste of this year’s sweet new theme: Christmas in Candyland. Whimsical, vibrant, and full of holiday wonder, the 2025 Mistletoe Market promises to be as joyful as stepping onto a life-sized game board lined with gumdrops, lollipops, and sparkling lights.

From the moment guests arrived, the room buzzed with excitement. Raffles and prize drawings showcased treasures from our beloved merchants, giving lucky winners a sneak peek at the delights in store this November. Members huddled around to cast votes on this year’s exclusive t-shirt design, proudly snagging shirts hot off the press to wear in support of the Market.

The evening also offered a warm welcome to the Mistletoe Market Committee, who shared their vision for the year ahead and invited members to join in shaping the Market’s sweetest season yet.

Adding to the festive spirit, Anthem Brewing Co. joined the celebration by donating $1 from every pint poured during the event. This event proved once again how community and camaraderie can turn something as simple as a beer into an act of holiday giving.

Christmas in July wasn’t just about celebration. It was also about big announcements. Guests toasted to the Market’s new home at the Bennett Center at the OKC Fairgrounds, where more space and energy will allow for an even bigger holiday experience. The committee teased exciting updates to beloved traditions, starting with a reimagined Preview Party. Now reborn as the Mistletoe Market Premiere Party, the evening of Thursday, Nov. 6 will shine brighter than ever with a renewed focus on shopping, fun, and friends.

Families can look forward to the return of Storytime with Santa on Saturday, Nov. 8. And, Market-goers of all ages will want to save room for the brand-new Sunday Funday, a surprise event guaranteed to add a cherry on top of an already magical weekend.
