The Back to School project works in conjunction with Citizens Caring for Children. The goal is to afford new school supplies for eligible children who are in foster care in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area.

Using Junior League funds, volunteers purchase new items and assist with organizing all community donations. Volunteers also help in setting up the store-like environment that is open in late July through late August.

By assisting each child with the selection of school supplies, members give encouragement and support. During their visit, all children receive a new book or journal.
