The Leaders Read program is dedicated to literacy readiness among preschoolers. Volunteers spend time reading individually to at risk children at a local daycare center.

Volunteers also organize and prepare a craft for the children based on books they have read together. The Junior League provides book donations for the center. Each month, every child receives a book to take home. This program operates during the day from September through December.
